Oning

I definitely think that teachers, especially in the public schools, are underpaid. I'm not a teacher but I feel that they deserve much more. Considering what they have to put up with in public schools, they not only teach but they are also like the second parents. I have a very high respect for teachers who do actually teach and care about students. However, not all teachers are heroes. Some of them don't really care. Unfortunately, I had the displeasure of being a part of a class who is being "taught" by really horrible teachers.

Without teachers, I don't know where we would all be. That's why I consider teachers one of our modern day heroes. They deserve more..both in respect and salary.
